Red Belly Ratings delivered another solid profit for members on Saturday’s Randwick and Caulfield meetings, the first day of our comprehensive Sydney and Melbourne Spring Carnival coverage.
Members backed the following 3 winners:
• Foreteller ($7 rated a $3.80 chance)
• Sacred Falls ($6 rated $4.80)
• Trust In A Gust ($2.35 rated $2)
Of the five other races we invested into, three of our selections ran second – Anatina, Suavito and Criterion – while Bonfire ran third.
Members won up to 5 units on the day, depending on how well they shopped for prices.
Some members also reported backing First Seal at up to $26, who upset star fillies Earthquake and Winx in the Tea Rose Stakes.
Ed had First Seal rated $12, so the $26 on offer certainly represented outstanding value.
We opted to stay out, but as always, we’re happy to see members using their initiative and finding overlays on the ratings sheet.
Ed also steered members into 2 winners at the Hawkesbury meeting on Sunday:
• Talisa – $7.50
• Fast Grass – $3.30
