Red Belly Ratings members were rewarded for three days of hard graft with a win of 7.84 units on Saturday across the Randwick, Caulfield and Eagle Farm meetings.
A profit of 7.84 units equates to the following cash amounts:
• For a $50 per unit punter – $392
• For a $100 per unit punter – $784
• For a $500 per unit punter – $3,920
Betting into 6 races, our form expert Ed Kennett delivered 4 winners:
• Travolta ($2.60 rated a $2.15 chance)
• Dream Choice ($5 rated $4.80)
• Eloping ($4 – race wasn’t rated due to a number of unseen debutants)
• Instrumentalist ($5 rated $3.60)
Ed also tipped Eagle Farm winner Cum Dividend ($2) in our Friday Newsletter, but didn’t make it an official bet for ratings members as it was under his rated price.
Of the beaten horses, Ed has advised members to follow up on Hollywood Bound, who ran 5th in Race 2 at Randwick, beaten 2.2 lengths.
“The run of Hollywood Bound was nothing short of phenomenal,” said Kennett.
“He was 4 wide without cover for the entire journey, and to finish as close to the winner as he did was an enormous effort.”
Our strategy in Race 8 at Randwick delivered the first four horses over the line – Dream Choice, Shelford, Monbazillac and Fireball.
Dream Choice was only a saver for us, and we don’t bet exotics, but it’s great to see our ratings, analysis and race strategy holding up well.
Red Belly Ratings have built a solid profit over the first two weeks of betting for 2014, giving members a solid base to launch into February and beyond.
