Our second bet of the day, Red Tracer, was beaten a nose by Sharnee Rose in the Golden Pendant.
We were able to secure $4.40 about Red Tracer, when Ed had it rated a $3 chance.
This represents outstanding value and is the sort of betting that produces long-term profits, even though it was (only just) unsuccessful on this occasion.
Our next wager was unsuccessful, with High Esteem and Your Honour both finishing unplaced in race seven, before our saver selection, Heart Testa ($5 rated a $4.50 chance) won the last.
